Thought twice about posting this one, but WTF. The song is Say Hello, Wave Goodbye, by Soft Cell. I have never heard the original version and am only familiar with David Gray's cover. I'm not used to using a pick, and about five or ten seconds into this I lost my grip and was plagued by a very self-conscious effort to hang onto the thing all the way through...
Man, I can never remember how to attach this stuff. Hope this works. I'm really looking forward to listening to everyone's stuff again.
Played on a Gibby SJ-100, recorded into a spanking new Zoom H2. Recording on this thing is terrifically easy. I still cannot figure out how to do the simplest edits, though. Can't even manage to open an H2 file in GarageBand... I'm frickin' hopeless, folks.
Stack, a million thanks for your advice on converting the file to a usable format. It worked! ...which may be unfortunate for anyone who actually listens to it...
Played badly on a Martin 000-18 Custom tuned to Eb. When red light fever hits me, evidently the first thing to go out the window is my rhythm...
