Well, I managed to escape from my Hospital bed in time to make this month's VOM1T and I thought this might be appropriate for the current Season/Climate.
It's a very inept version of a classic song by the legendary Alan Hull, sadly no longer with us.
Alan was one of the founder members of 'Lindisfarne' - a Folk/Rock Band who reached prominence in the mid 70's - although they have always been highly regarded in the UK, particularly in the their native North-East where, until their recent disbanding, they had (and still enjoy) almost god-like status.
I recommend anyone unfamiliar with the Band, to do a search of their music.
I hope you enjoy what, for me, is one of Alan's most poignant songs and I'm very proud of my past (& present) association with the Band
